What should you look for in a cash safe?
- Body construction: ACK Metal home and office safes have a C-30 concrete-filled body, with 4 mm outer and 2 mm inner sheet steel and a thickness of 60 mm including the fill.
- Door and bolts: a door reinforced with 8 mm steel and 12 mm cast iron, 30 mm thick bolts, and a hinge connection that is cut off once the safe is locked.
- Lock: an ACK electronic combination lock and a German-type lock with a 250,000/1 opening probability are standard; Securam, Dorma-Kaba or La Gard electronic combination and fingerprint systems, as well as mechanical locks, can be chosen.
- Interior layout: an adjustable shelf system, a separate locked compartment inside and a velvet lining that resists moisture, stains and fire.
- Standard and warranty: manufacture to Euro ECB-S standards, certified components and a 2-year warranty on the mechanical parts.

Small sizes suit limited spaces such as inside a cupboard or a wall corner; large sizes suit offices that store many document folders and items. The litre figure is calculated from the external dimensions; because of the concrete-filled body, the usable interior volume is smaller.
